DiabetesIndia Fellowship Program & Clinical Training

Eligibility Criteria

Fellowship of DiabetesIndia is awarded to physicians, diabetologists, and endocrinologists doing exemplary work in improving the care of people with diabetes. Applicants must meet the required criteria:

Applicants can apply 15 years after MBBS or 10 years after post graduation.
Attended at least one annual meeting of the Research Trust of DiabetesIndia in the last 3 years.
Submit two professional letters of recommendations written by fellows of DiabetesIndia.
Annual Conference Registration: Selected fellows must complete their registration for the annual DiabetesIndia conference, to be held in Chennai in February 2027.
Mandatory Attendance: The fellowship will not be granted in absentia. Attendance at the conference is mandatory.
Fellowship Contribution: A contribution of Rs. 15,000 + GST is required upon selection, which supports the continued development and success of our fellowship program.

Submit Application

Submit your application online on the Fellowship portal along with a detailed CV and two letters of recommendation.

Screening & Review

Applications will be carefully screened and reviewed by the Fellowship Committee. Successful applicants will be notified by email.

Contribution Payment

Successful applicants are required to pay a Fellowship contribution of 15,000 INR to the Research Trust of DiabetesIndia.

Register & Participate

Accepted applicants must register for and actively participate in the DiabetesIndia Annual Meeting to receive the fellowship.
